Susan graduated from the University of Maine with a teaching degree in the Arts and several years later (2010) graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. After a two and a half-year internship, Susan completed her national boards in 2013 and became licensed with the state of Florida. Susan holds certification with IATP as a Certified Expert Trauma Professional and is a Qualified Supervisor for Interns seeking licensing with the state of Florida.  Susan works with adult women, couples, and specializes in counseling those with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

BIBLICAL COUNSELOR

Alexis

Alexis serves as a Biblical Counselor with a passion for helping women walk in freedom and healing. She works in the areas of addictions and trauma, with a special focus on supporting women who are navigating anxiety and depression.

​

Through a Christ-centered approach, Alexis integrates biblical truth with compassionate care, offering hope, encouragement, and practical guidance. Her heart is to create a safe space where women can experience God’s love, find strength, and begin the journey toward lasting transformation.

Jim Begley

Jim, a graduate of Asbury College and Asbury Theological Seminary, has an accreditation with the AACC and has pastored and counseled for over forty years.  He has counseled a broad spectrum of people in their life’s journeys, coming alongside to assist them in experiencing wholeness to healing in fulfilling their potential. Jim works with adults, couples, children, and teens.

COUNSELOR (LCSW)

Laura

Laura has been in practice since 2012 and brings over a decade of experience walking alongside individuals and families through seasons of challenge and growth. She specializes in trauma, addiction, anxiety, aging, and parenting, while also working with a wide range of mental health concerns.  Laura believes that developing a trusting relationship is the foundation of effective therapy and considers that partnership to be the most meaningful part of her work.

She provides counseling for children ages 5 and up, adolescents, and adults of all ages—including older adults, which was her area of educational focus. Laura’s heart is to create a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered environment where clients can find hope, healing, and wholeness.
